Fire Marshal Training 

 

Whether you’re requiring refresher training or are new to the role, our Fire Marshal training course will encompass all requirements.  

The course is delivered by our in house Nebosh, IFE, PTLLS Level 4 and FireQual UK Fire Door Inspector qualified representative, who has nearly 20 years experience in the sector. 

 

Our trainer will come in person to your organisation or preferred location to deliver this course. This is our preferred method of training. It offers more of a personal touch where questions can be answered face to face. 

Our fire marshal course offers substantial training on fire prevention and detection and includes hands-on fire extinguisher operation training.  

The course content includes interactive training in fire risk assessments and mitigation, providing fire marshals with all the necessary information, skills and experience to meet fire marshal training requirements.

Having a designated fire marshal at work is an important part of fire safety. The fire marshal will work together with the employer to ensure that fire safety measures and evacuation procedures are in place and are effective.

 

Our Fire Marshal training content 

 

During this training you’ll learn how fires can start and the dangers that they pose, fire prevention, control measures, fire extinguishers and their appropriate use and evacuation procedures. You will gain a clear understanding of your duties as a fire marshal. 

 

By the end of this Fire Marshal Training course, you will be able to: 

 

Outline your responsibilities as a fire marshal. 

Explain the different categories of fire and recognise common causes of fires in the workplace. 

Recognise fire risks and help apply control measures to prevent and minimise fire risks. 

Help implement your organisation’s emergency plans and evacuation procedures in the event of a fire.
